Level 2 Latin & American

Build on the first steps you learnt in Level 1 Latin, putting them together in a simple routine. This class will introduce a little more timing and technique, to improve your dancing style, and will also introduce the fun Jive, Rock 'n' Roll, Jitterbug, Swing, and Lindy Hop dances. The Jive beat is heard everywhere - from rock 'n' roll to modern music and the popular revival of swing music.

Level 3 Latin & American

Level 3 Latin helps you build more steps into your routine, together with more understanding of the technique of each particular dance, such as leading for the man, and following for the lady. You will also learn the Paso Doblé, the dance of the bullfighter and his cape.

Under 6 Children's Step, Stretch & Movement Class

A specially designed class for children who are aged under 6. Stepping, Stretching and Moving to music in preperation to learning the more intricate and disciplined steps of Ballroom and Latin American dancing. This is the best time to get your children into Dance Classes

Under 13 Children's Class

A friendly, fun class for children who are aged under 13. A great class for children to build self-esteem, improve the co-ordination and posture, and to meet other kids.

Children will learn the first steps of a wide range of dances, including ballroom and latin dances, under the expert tuition of Colleen Murray.

Medal tests and competitions are great ways for children to build their esteem, by getting used to performing before a friendly and supportive audience. It also lets them measure their achievements by collecting medals, certificates and trophies.

Teenager's Ballroom and Latin & American

A class especially for teenagers. A fun way for them to channel some of that awesome energy, while developing their posture, co-ordination and dancing and social skills.

Social Style Ballroom Dancing. Level 1

Rhythm Barn Dance: This is a progressive (regular partner changing) dance made up of chasses. Chasses are very important in the development of Ballroom and Latin American dancing, as they are used in many dances.

Rhythm Foxtrot: The most popular and common dance you will hear when out social dancing. This is a must for the social dancer and is very eay to learn.

Waltz: Probably the most well known of all the ballroom dances. Waltz is made up of three steps to form turns.

Cha Cha Cha & Mambo: Introduction to the Latin American dances. Fun and lively to dance. Cha Cha Cha uses a compact chasse action to achieve the merengue feel. The musical value of Latin dances are often heard in today's modern music.

Jive, Hustle & Rock 'n' Roll,: Jive is another tune commonly heard played, whether as Rock'n'Roll or Jitterbug. Jive has a quick tempo and requires a brisk chasse action. Hustle is danced to the same music as Jive, however the foot pattern is simplified to one beat timing.

Samba & Salsa: The Samba beat is heard almost everywhere. Three steps to a bar of music.

Solo Latin American Dancing

No partner needed for this class. It's a fun way to start dancing, or to keep fit, with simple steps and great music. You'll dance the Cha Cha Cha, Samba, Rumba, Paso Doblé, and Jive and have a great time doing it in this friendly class. Anyone of any age can enjoy Solo Latin American Dancing!

Tango Argentino

Gaining more and more popularity, this dance originated in the dance clubs and bordellos in Argentina. With time, this dance has gained respectability, and variations of tango, such as the Ballroom Tango, are danced all around the world. The authentic steps are taught in this class, and combined into a routine that is simple to learn and fun to dance.

Learn the easy steps to dance to this latest music craze from South America. This style of dance is very Social, and can be danced to most of today's modern music as well, so you can dance it at any function or club. The class covers Merengue, Salsa, Lambada and Mambo.

Advanced Caribbean Latin

Add more complex steps to your Merengue, Salsa, Mambo and Lambada routines.
